Outdoor reading event

On Tuesday, Reception to Year 4 enjoyed a special outdoor themed reading event where they experienced pendant making with forest school teacher Laura, story stone telling, where the wild things are dance with dance teacher Charlotte and much more.
Parents attended a story telling session in the afternoon where they had the opportunity to see all the children made throughout the day.
Thank you to the National Literacy Trust and Royal Victoria Place for funding the event and the purchasing of a book for every child.
A special thank you to Laura from Wildwood Forest School for donating her time to teach Forest Schools and to Laura Parker of Freckles and Fire for the donation of the bell tents to shield us from the April showers.
