Year 6
Malala Class
Mr S Angus
Year 6 - the final year at primary school.
In Malala class, pupils take further strides on the final journey towards secondary school. Pupils should be independent, organised and responsible, showing the school values at all times, both in and out of school.
As well as preparing for the Statutory Assessments (SATs) in June, pupils in Y6 are given the highest levels of responsibility and leadership. They are expected to be role models for younger pupils and help them learn and grow.
Pupils in Year 6 are also able to engage in a range of experiences to enrich their learning, including a residential and a musical performance at the end of the year. This year, some pupils have also had the opportunity to visit a university to help build their aspirations.
