Road Safety Event

We welcomed Kent Road Safety to the school on Tuesday last week and they worked with Reception, Year 1 and Year 5.
They will be returning to the school throughout the year to work with children of all year groups to reinforce the Road Safety Club Code:
STOP at the curb and wait
LOOK and LISTEN for traffic
THINK about what to do
CROSS the road safely with an adult, looking and listening all the time
This leads us nicely into reminding you to respect parking regulations when arriving to drop off and collect your children from school. We have had a number of complaints again this week.
Additionally, according to road signs Friars Way will be closed from 18 October until 1 November.
Please bear this in mind for the first week back after half-term.
