At Temple Grove, our ethos and values display our strong belief in these as shown in Modern Britain. It is therefore, essential for these values to be embodied through all that we do.

• Visits to Houses of Parliament
• Children vote for their School Council representatives
• Children apply for areas of key responsibilities – Eagles, Chicks, Peer Mediators, Playground Buddies, Sports Leaders
• Through our curricular clubs and opportunities, children are given the freedom to make choices.
• Our values and ethos are embodied in all that we do
• We are consistent in our dealings and promote fair play (children regularly praised for their sportsmanship at tournaments)
• We regularly celebrate the festivals and celebrations of a range of faiths practiced in Modern Britain
• Encourage fair play and fairness and kindness towards others less fortunate
• We have links with the local police through the PCSO and Sherwood/Troubled Families programmes.
• Clearly structured behaviour policy which all stakeholders understand and follow.
• Regularly review behaviour incidents in school and share these with key stakeholders.
• Assemblies are delivered with a focus on the law e.g. Safety Awareness and E-safety awareness and tolerance e.g. terrorism
• The organisation of pupils into Houses encourages participation in all areas of Academy life while linking to rewards for positive behaviour
• Overseas links through IPC
